In no particular order: I am a wife; parent; soccer-mom; daughter; caretaker of a 10 year old dog and 7 year old goldfish; sister; friend; environmental warrior and fierce advocate; serial volunteer; lover of the outdoors; committed fan of the SF Giants, 49ers, and Sacramento Republic FC; baker/cook; neat-freak; gardener; world traveler; beer (and the occasional Manhattan) enthusiast; haphazard runner; TV-show binge-watcher; movie go-er; music lover; avid reader; lefty liberal; and stubborn optimist.

I am just trying to take care of my family and friends, make sense of the world around me, fight like hell to kick cancer out of my life (forever), practice kindness, spread hope, and make the world a little better than what it was before I got here.
